Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Actively seeking a Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience. Responsibilities Prepare form/draft Discovery Requests, Responses and Supplements and Expert Designations Prepare simple Pleadings (proposed orders, scheduling orders, etc.) Prepare Notices to Produce Prepare Notices of Deposition Prepare Records Subpoenas and follow-up Prepare Authorization to Secure Records and follow-up Prepare certified mailings of Discovery/Pleadings Review Depositions at attorney's request Review and Summarize Employment Records Review and Summarize Medical Records Prepare Trial Notebooks Interview witnesses and maintain relationships to ensure appearance and cooperation at trial Work with insured/client to respond to written discovery Work with experts during entire case and maintain records of what has been sent to or received from experts Update "Records Log" Instruct File Clerk to prepare Deposition/Mediation Notebooks Instruct File Clerk to download employment/medical records when received Enter own time in billing system Save own e-mails in file system Other duties as assigned by attorneys, Executive Director, and/or Human Resources Manager Qualifications 3+ years of experience Billing experience Paralegal certification Why Join This Firm? 85% paid healthcare premium 401(k) plan Competitive compensation Generous vacation time Immediate hiring need with the ability to onboard quickly.
