Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various aspects of litigation, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and maintained efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a solid understanding of legal procedures. The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals to facilitate the smooth operation of case management. Duties Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and evidence. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support ongoing cases. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Manage case calendars, deadlines, and schedules to ensure timely filing of documents. Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases. Maintain accurate records of case progress and communicate updates to attorneys. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Utilize software such as PCLaw for case management and documentation purposes. Support attorneys. Experience The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: 10 year litigation experience is required (Plaintiff side preferred) Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment. Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. Excellent project management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously. Experience in interviewing clients and witnesses effectively. Knowledge of personal injury law. Proficient in using legal software tools such as PCLaw or similar applications.
