A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

Full-time Description RMWBH Law has a new opportunity in our San Antonio office for a Litigation Paralegal with at least three years of experience to join our growing team.
Requirements Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc Experience with District and County Court systems Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail Extensive computer and database expertise
Responsibilities:
Conducting pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court Performing administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc) Compensation Salary is commensurate with experience. Eligible for a quarterly performance-based bonus.
