  • Full-time Established consumer bankruptcy law office seeking a detail-oriented Bankruptcy Paralegal to assist with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple cases while providing excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements, and plans. Communicate with clients to gather documents and information. Review financial records and prepare bankruptcy filings. Electronically file documents through CM/ECF. Monitor case deadlines, court notices, and trustee requests. Communicate with trustees, creditors, and clients. Maintain accurate case files and calendars.
Qualifications:
Prior bankruptcy paralegal experience preferred. Knowledge of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy procedures. Experience with bankruptcy software such as Jubilee Pro is preferred. Familiarity with CM/ECF filing is preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
