Job :
As a growing team, we are seeking a dedicated Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Litigation Legal Assistant at our personal injury firm, you will play a key role in helping our clients fight back against insurance companies and recover what they deserve. You'll support the attorneys in every phase of a case once litigation begins—drafting documents, filing with the court, managing deadlines, and keeping the case moving forward. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where client communication and organization are essential.
Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft and file legal documents including petitions, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial documents
  • Handle court filings (state and federal), including e-filing through systems like eFileTexas
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case files and calendars, including tracking court dates, deadlines, and appointments
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and request information
  • Order and follow up on medical records, bills, and other supporting documents
  • Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness lists
  • Support attorneys in trial prep and settlement negotiations
  • Respond to inquiries from courts, clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel
Qualifications :
  • High School Diploma/Associate Degree/Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Experience in personal injury
  • Experience in case management software. Experience in Filevine a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient
  • Bilingual a plus.

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
