Full-Time Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bankruptcy Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bankruptcy law or accounting. The selected candidate will assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, managing case files, and supporting clients throughout the bankruptcy process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing and filing petitions, schedules and related documents. Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information. Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and accurate. Communicate with clients and court personnel as needed. Prepare and organize discovery materials and trial documents.
Qualifications:
Experience in bankruptcy law, general law, or bookkeeping preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
