The preferred candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including client intake, legal research, document preparation and filing, and attending trials. Bachelor's degree or prior legal experience preferred. Responsibilities Perform administrative duties (calendaring and monitoring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, scheduling with clients, preparing binders for hearings, etc.) Format and construct various pleadings, discovery, correspondence and other legal documents Manage correspondence between attorney and clients Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files Electronic filing with Federal and State Courts Track and monitor all cases Provide proactive support to the attorney and firm Other tasks as needed Skills Knowledge of court requirements and procedures, including Federal and State Court filing deadlines Experience with Federal and State Court electronic filing Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, prioritize, organize, be proactive, and work under pressure Ability to maintain large caseload High attention to detail, self-motivated, quick learner Ability to both follow instructions and ask questions where needed, and to think and work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional appearance and attitude Bachelor's Degree or prior legal experience is preferred Pay negotiable depending on experience.
