Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a busy legal team in Alexandria, Virginia. This role is well suited to someone with at least two years of experience handling court-related documentation, maintaining critical deadlines, and coordinating legal administrative work. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing electronic filing processes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and submit legal documents through electronic court filing systems with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, track court deadlines, and help ensure all filings and case activities stay on schedule.
  • Organize case materials, correspondence, and supporting records so information is easy to access and up to date.
  • Assist with litigation support tasks, including drafting routine legal documents and assembling filing packets.
  • Monitor court rules and filing requirements to help ensure documents meet jurisdiction-specific standards.
  • Communicate with attorneys, court personnel, and internal team members regarding filing status, scheduling, and case logistics.
