In this role, you will work closely with executive leadership, HR, operations teams, and outside counsel on a variety of legal, compliance, and business matters that directly support the success of our restaurants and corporate operations. What You'll Do:
Assist with reviewing, drafting, organizing, and managing contracts, vendor agreements, leases, legal documents, and corporate records. Support employment and HR-related matters, including employee relations documentation, compliance tracking, investigations, and policy administration. Partner with operations and leadership teams to help manage legal and compliance needs across multiple restaurant brands and locations. Coordinate with outside counsel regarding litigation, labor matters, franchise-related issues, licensing, and other legal projects. Conduct legal and regulatory research related to restaurant and hospitality operations. Track important deadlines, renewals, filings, and compliance requirements to keep the business running smoothly. Assist with insurance claims, permits, licensing, and other operational legal matters. Prepare and organize materials for meetings, hearings, audits, and legal reviews. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive company and employee information. Provide direct support to executive leadership on special projects and business initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant required. Experience supporting restaurant, hospitality, retail, franchise, or multi-unit operations is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication skills and a professional, solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently while also collaborating across departments. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems. Paralegal certification is a plus. Notary Public certification is a plus. Why Join Us?
