Role:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience to support a busy Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney in our Houston office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with one attorney, providing dedicated support on a high-volume caseload while playing a critical role in case development and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, one-on-one support to a single attorney handling plaintiff personal injury cases Manage a high-volume caseload from intake through trial preparation Draft and file pleadings, discovery, and correspondence Coordinate and manage discovery, including document production and organization Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case-related events Maintain case files, deadlines, and calendaring to ensure timely case progression Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel Assist with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, and witness coordination
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in plaintiff personal injury Strong experience supporting cases from inception through pre-trial and trial preparation Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with legal software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
