Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting complex litigation cases across a variety of practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, and more. Your expertise will help streamline case management, facilitate effective legal research, and ensure the accuracy and organization of critical legal documents. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools. Manage and organize case files using iManage and other document management systems to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with recordkeeping standards. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail. Coordinate discovery processes such as document review, data entry, and organizing evidence for trial or settlement negotiations. Support project management efforts by tracking case deadlines, scheduling depositions, interviews, court appearances, and maintaining litigation calendars. Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information to assist attorneys in case strategy development. Perform administrative tasks including filing documents with courts or agencies, managing legal administrative support functions, and maintaining communication with clients and external partners. Skills Extensive knowledge of litigation procedures across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, and UCC law. Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis for comprehensive case analysis. Experience with legal case management software like PCLaw or similar systems to track case progress efficiently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent written communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed document review and manage large volumes of data accurately. Effective interviewing skills to gather relevant client information confidently and professionally. Familiarity with document management systems such as iManage or similar platforms for secure storage and retrieval of files. Administrative experience supporting attorneys with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and organizational support. Pay:
