Job Description

Our law firm is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and bilingual Legal Administrative Clerk to lead a major transition from physical records to our digital client management system. This role is a blend of data management and client relations. You will be responsible for audit-checking our physical case files, migrating them into client-management software, and communicating directly with clients to transition them to our automated payment system. Because our internal team and a large portion of our client base communicate primarily in Spanish, absolute fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities Data Migration & Digital Archiving:
Audit, organize, and systematically review a high volume of physical case files. Accurate input of all client information, case notes, and relevant data into client-management software
Client Outreach & Accounts Receivable:
Contact clients via phone and email to discuss account statuses in a professional, courteous manner.
Payment Setup:
Securely collect client billing information and successfully transition them onto automatic payment schedules within our system.
Team Collaboration:
Assist the legal team with administrative tasks and bridge any communication needs between Spanish-speaking clients and staff.
Qualifications & Skills Language:
Native or professional fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is non-negotiable.
Tech-Savvy:
Strong computer skills and data entry skills with high accuracy.
Communication:
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills. Ability to discuss financial matters and collect payments with empathy, professionalism, and assertiveness.
Organization:
A natural problem-solver who enjoys organizing large volumes of information and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Confidentiality:
Strict adherence to legal ethics and client confidentiality regulations.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
