Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

administrative and clerical tasks to support operations; maintain case database with regular file updates, including updating case statuses, tagging and flagging client communications on a regular basis; communicate with clients, including sending reminders and providing assistance as needed; prepare and revise draft estate documents, including merging questionnaires and templates, editing and drafting language in grammatically correct manner, and creating questionnaire templates; maintain and organize electronic and physical files, records, and documents; track and order supplies as necessary; schedule and manage appointments and meetings; receive, scan, and organize incoming mail and send outgoing mail; receive and provide general support to visitors; answer and direct phone calls with proper phone etiquette; post social media content; file legal documents in person and/or online; maintain office organization and cleanliness of workspace other related duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned.
