Company Description Sinnott, Nuckols & Logan, P.C. is an established civil litigation defense firm with more than 35 years of experience serving clients throughout Virginia. Our attorneys represent insurance carriers, their insureds and businesses in a wide range of litigation matters. About the Position We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented full-time Legal Assistant to provide administrative support to our litigation team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping cases organized, following up on important tasks, and helping ensure files are prepared for every stage of litigation. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with attorneys and paralegals. Responsibilities
  • Follow up with medical providers and other facilities regarding outstanding medical records and document requests.
  • Communicate with courts regarding final orders, filings, hearing information, and other case-related matters.
  • Prepare and assemble binders for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
  • Prepare case files and exhibits for hearings, mediations, and trial.
  • Assist paralegals with administrative and litigation support.
  • Scan, upload, and organize incoming documents.
  • Maintain case files to ensure all documents are complete and up to date.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the litigation team. Qualifications
  • Previous legal assistant, administrative assistant, or law office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
