Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Follow up with medical providers and other facilities regarding outstanding medical records and document requests.
- Communicate with courts regarding final orders, filings, hearing information, and other case-related matters.
- Prepare and assemble binders for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.
- Prepare case files and exhibits for hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Assist paralegals with administrative and litigation support.
- Scan, upload, and organize incoming documents.
- Maintain case files to ensure all documents are complete and up to date.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the litigation team. Qualifications
- Previous legal assistant, administrative assistant, or law office experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
