  • As required by our governmental client, this position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.
  • Cherokee Federal Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our esteemed team, specializing in criminal and civil cases.
As a Paralegal with 0-2 years of experience, you will play a vital role in assisting our attorneys with various legal tasks, ensuring the seamless preparation and processing of complex legal documents. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment.
Compensation & Benefits:

  • Criminal and Civil Responsibilities Include:
    Paralegal
  • Criminal and Civil Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: One year of professional experience with basic legal knowledge, including knowledge of standard legal citation to cite check legal motions and memorandum and must have sufficient experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw to perform basic legal research.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, shall be proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook). Experience in attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions. Basic familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of e-discovery procedures and resources.
Education:
2-year degree or higher, or High School Diploma or equivalent and Paralegal Certificate. Work experience can be substituted for paralegal certificate. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of
