Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal in Green Bay Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C., a dynamic law firm with offices in Green Bay and Appleton, is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive paralegal to join our estate planning and probate practice. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping clients navigate important life transitions, and takes pride in keeping complex matters organized and moving forward. Our ideal candidate is more than a document preparer. We are looking for a trusted team member who is an exceptional communicator and skilled problem solver. This position is a full-time position at 40 hours per week in our Green Bay office. Our office has normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. What you'll do at
Peterson, Berk & Cross:
Assist the attorney with a variety of legal matters including, estate planning, probate and trust administration, and guardianship matters. Draft and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court filings. Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and workflow systems. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, courts, and other professionals. Track and obtain information and documentation from clients. Coordinate meetings, signings, and court-related activities. Monitor matters to ensure that all deadlines and action items are met. Identify potential issues and work with the attorneys to develop solutions to keep moving efficiently. Maintain accurate and organized records in both digital and physical formats.
Qualifications:
Some experience in office setting, preferably in a clerical role Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding customer service skills Good computer skills, including typing, use of the internet and Microsoft Office Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Law office experience is a plus, but not necessary
