Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including document preparation, formatting, proofreading, and correspondence management. Coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, depositions, appointments, and deadlines. Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic and physical case files. Assist with court filings and document management. Manage client communications with professionalism, discretion, and responsiveness. Support billing processes, time entry, expense tracking, and invoice review. Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow and client service. Ensure compliance with firm policies, confidentiality requirements, and legal procedures. Monitor deadlines and assist with workload prioritization across multiple matters.
