About the Opportunity A respected litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing legal team. Position Summary The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support throughout all phases of the litigation process. This individual will be responsible for managing case files, drafting legal documents, coordinating case activities, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation while ensuring deadlines are met and cases remain organized. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Organize, coordinate, and maintain litigation files and case materials. Prepare, review, and respond to discovery requests. Summarize medical records and other complex case documents. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and legal memoranda. Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial. Coordinate depositions, court appearances, hearings, client meetings, and witness schedules. Track litigation deadlines and maintain an accurate case calendar. Manage case files, legal documents, and electronic records. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third-party vendors. Provide ongoing case management and litigation support from case inception through resolution. Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as needed. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. Insurance defense litigation experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with insurance billing practices and legal timekeeping is a plus. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court deadlines, and legal documentation. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Education Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant litigation experience will be considered. Technical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Gmail, and other Windows-based applications. Experience with legal case management software is a plus.
