Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Parking Enforcement Officer and play a vital role in maintaining safe, organized, and accessible parking environments within our community. In this energetic and engaging position, you will be responsible for monitoring parking areas, ensuring compliance with parking regulations, and providing excellent customer service to the public. Your proactive approach and conflict management skills will help foster positive interactions while enforcing parking policies effectively. Duties Patrol designated parking areas to monitor vehicle activity and ensure adherence to parking regulations. Issue citations or warnings to vehicles that violate parking rules, maintaining clear documentation of incidents. Assist the public with inquiries regarding parking policies, directions, or general information in a courteous manner. Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes between motorists or pedestrians when necessary. Conduct routine inspections of parking facilities to identify hazards or maintenance issues requiring attention. Complete detailed reports on daily activities, violations issued, and any incidents encountered during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel during incidents or emergencies as needed. Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations. Demonstrated conflict management abilities to handle challenging interactions calmly and effectively. Experience in report writing or documentation to accurately record incidents and enforcement actions. Knowledge of local parking regulations, traffic laws, or enforcement procedures is a plus.
