Job Summary:
The Parking Enforcement Attendant is a key member of the Parking team at Copper Mountain, responsible for ensuring guests comply with paid parking policies in designated areas—especially in the Village. Your primary responsibility is to monitor paid parking zones and issue citations to vehicles that have not paid or are parked in violation of resort regulations. This enforcement function is essential to maintaining fairness, optimizing parking capacity, and ensuring a smooth, well-organized guest experience. In addition to enforcement duties, you will support Parking Attendants with traffic control, assist with snow removal, answer guest questions, and help maintain safe and clean base areas. As a visible representative of Copper Mountain, your professionalism and guest service mindset contribute directly to the resort's first and last impression on visitors. Snow removal responsibilities include the use of hand tools such as shovels and ice scrapers, often in high-traffic areas like walkways, signage zones, and entrances. You must also be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly as part of your daily duties. You will need to maintain a working knowledge of resort weather conditions, snow reports, base area locations, and special events to assist guests and respond effectively to operational needs. The role is physically demanding and requires working outdoors for extended periods—often starting before sunrise and continuing through variable winter weather including snow, ice, and wind. Please be advised that Copper Mountain is a dynamic resort environment where schedules may change quickly due to weather conditions or guest traffic. You must be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, long hours, and overtime at a moment's notice. At the end of the day, Parking Enforcement Attendants play a critical role in alleviating congestion in the Village and assisting with traffic flow out of parking lots and onto Hwy 91. To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a written test to obtain a flagger certification card. This is an ideal position for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable enforcing rules with professionalism, and enjoy physically active outdoor work in a team-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor Village parking areas and ensure that all parked vehicles are in compliance with payment requirements. Issue parking citations to vehicles that have not paid or that are violating posted parking regulations. Document violations clearly and accurately in accordance with resort procedures. Maintain a visible presence in paid lots to deter non-compliance. Maintain all equipment, vehicles and tools and report all repair/replacement needs to the foreman and/or the Vehicle Maintenance Department. Perform staffing and/or traffic control. Maintain good housekeeping practices of work areas, locker facilities, work sites, and company vehicles. Maintain, as directed, all permanent and temporary signs located in the village to include proper attachment, adequate spacing, proper alignment, satisfactory appearance, snow removal, banner attachment and placement, adequate wording and cleaning. Provide the guest with free jump -start service and assist the guest in an effective and efficient manner in order to make their experience at Copper Mountain a pleasant one (even with a dead battery at the end of the day!). With direction, appropriately marking of all hazards and obstacles to ensure the safety of all Copper Mountain residents, guests, and employees. Also marking of any fixture or accessory to ensure no damage from traffic or plowing operations. Maintain, as directed, village ski racks to include removal of unwanted stickers, bumping of racks to prevent freezing to the ground, snow removal, and repair or replacement of broken or missing parts.
Guest Service Duties:
Perform the safe, effective, efficient and hassle-free parking of the guest and employee in both pay and free parking lots. Greet every guest encountered and be available to assist guests in any manner possible in assigned work areas. Provide courteous, accurate, and reliable information to the guest regarding weather and ski reports, special events, activities, and general knowledge of Copper Mountain. Other Duties as

Basic Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Possession of a valid U.S. Driver's license. Required to stand, walk for long periods of time in a high alpine environment. Must be at least 18 years old Be able to pass a written test to obtain a flagger certification card. This position may require the use of a mountain radio/walkie-talkies for communication
Preferred Experience and Special Skills:
Prefer great guest relation experience Tourism/Resort or Theme Park operations experience preferred but not required
