Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Parking Enforcement Officer and become a vital part of maintaining parking regulations and safety within our community. In this energetic role, the individual is responsible for parking enforcement, public-facing customer service and maintaining a positive and professional presence in the community. This is a part-time seasonal position. Responsibilities Responsible for the enforcement and issuance of citations for parking violations of municipal and state laws, regulations, and ordinances. Issue citations or warnings to vehicles that are illegally parked or violate posted signage. Engage with the public courteously, providing information about parking rules and addressing concerns. Requirements Using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established guidelines. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively. Excellent customer service abilities to interact positively with the public and resolve issues diplomatically. Knowledge of local parking laws and enforcement procedures is a plus. Available for weekends & holidays Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
