Monday - Friday / / PEO from 10:30am-3:00pm & Shuttle Driving from 3pm-7pm This position is a hybrid role consisting of parking enforcement duties during the earlier portion of the shift and shuttle/bus driving responsibilities later in the day. Candidates must possess a valid Class B driver's license and Passenger Endorsement. The Spirit of the Position The Shuttle Driver / Parking Enforcement Agent provides operational support by safely transporting passengers while upholding and enforcing parking regulations and local parking ordinances. This hybrid role requires strong customer service skills, professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety, timeliness, and operational excellence. The position will primarily perform parking enforcement duties during assigned daytime hours and shuttle/bus driving responsibilities during afternoon and evening operations. Principal Job Duties Parking Enforcement Responsibilities Monitor on-street parking meters and parking areas for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances and regulations by following assigned routes. Patrol parking facilities and surrounding areas on foot and/or by vehicle to ensure parking compliance. Issue warnings and citations in accordance with local ordinances and company procedures. Monitor restricted, reserved, ADA, and permit parking areas. Assist with traffic flow and parking organization during peak times and special events. Handle customer interactions and challenging situations professionally and courteously. Maintain accurate enforcement logs, reports, and documentation. Maintain and care for all company-issued equipment. Report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, maintenance concerns, accidents, and incidents promptly. Assist with special assignments and projects as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Shuttle / Bus
Driver Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle vans, buses, or commercial vehicles along assigned routes and schedules. Transport employees, guests, and customers to and from designated parking lots and facilities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues. Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies. Assist passengers with directions and boarding as needed. Maintain professional appearance and excellent customer service standards. Complete required driving logs and operational reports. Education High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Experience & Requirements Valid Class B driver's license required with Passenger Endorsement Minimum of 2 years of driving experience required. Previous shuttle driving, parking enforcement, transportation, security, or customer service preferred. Clean driving record preferred. Skills & Abilities Ability to work independently and multi-task efficiently. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interpret parking regulations, policies, procedures, and standard business practices. Demonstrates urgency, dependability, and professionalism. Ability to remain firm and make sound independent decisions. Ability to handle difficult or emotionally charged situations professionally. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Must be open to feedback and differing points of view. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, rain, wind, and cold temperatures. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time throughout the shift. Ability to sit and operate shuttle or bus vehicles for extended periods as needed. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout shifts. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or more when necessary. Flexible schedule with possible evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.
