Summary:

This is a mid-level position with the Pretrial Services Program. The individual holding this position is primarily responsible for the assessment and supervision of pretrial defendants, managing the defendant check-in system, scheduling client urinalysis, greeting all visitors to the pretrial services office and directing them to the appropriate staff. This position also includes screening and interviewing defendants for his/her First Appearance hearing and attending First Appearance hearings to report assessment results and recommendations to the Court.

Temporary Training Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM

• 3:30 PM Schedule (Post-Training): Friday-Tuesday (Wednesday and Thursday off)

Weekdays:

6:30 AM

• 3:00

PM Weekends:

4:00 AM

• 12:30

PM Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university OR one to two years of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience Strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential
