Overview Make a difference in the lives of justice-involved youth! Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Juvenile Justice Specialist to provide vital support to juveniles and their families, guiding them toward recovery and stability. This position will be based in Granite City or Belleville, IL. In this role, you will deliver compassionate case management and community support services, helping young individuals navigate the court system while addressing behavioral health needs. You'll collaborate with probation officers, detention centers, and community resources to advocate for the best outcomes. Responsibilities Complete required documentation, including assessments, treatment/recovery plans, court reports, and progress notes, in compliance with agency policies. Deliver juvenile- and family-driven services, focusing on community support and case management. Apply trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care principles to support youth and families. Provide transportation, referrals, and advocacy, ensuring access to essential services within Chestnut and the juvenile justice system. Build and maintain positive relationships with court officials, probation officers, and community partners. Participate in meetings, juvenile staffings, and program development while supporting team initiatives. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with supervision requirements, and complete all required training. Utilize available resources to meet the needs of juveniles and families. Demonstrate leadership with minimal supervision and uphold Chestnut's standards of service excellence. Safeguard confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in a social service-related field. Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and insurability. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, email, videoconferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR). Are you intrigued by this job but don't meet every single requirement? The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
