Job Description

We have exciting opportunities available for Peer Support QP Supervisors!
Job Qualifications:
Must have 1 year experience as a Peer Support QP Supervisor Must be licensed as a Certified Peer Support Specialist Must have Bachelor's Degree Must be detail oriented and have strong leadership skills Must have proven track record of successfully managing a team of 6+ Must pass background check Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation CPR, first aid, NCI and/or role-related certification Must have 3 professional references with contact information Cover letter that includes any conflicts of interest (i.e. other companies that you may work for) In this role you will be responsible for the following: Responsible for the overall delivery and oversight of mental health care provided by Peer Meeting with clients to provide advice and support in accordance with a treatment plan Support Specialist(s) and Paraprofessionals in all catchment areas. Provides leadership to Peer Support Specialist(s) and Paraprofessionals. Represent the agency in a quality control and quality improvement capacity. Develops and implements supervision plan. Provides supervision to staff on a monthly basis and documents appropriately. Provides both administrative task-oriented supervision and reflective/consultative supervision. Administrative supervision focuses on organizational efficiency, with all of the necessary attention on performance measures, required tasks and urgent deadlines. Consultative supervision focuses on the professional development of the Peer Support Specialist(s), along with his/her relationships with consumers. Informing clients on community resources and how to use them appropriately, providing information to consumers and families on specific topics, as assigned Monitors the delivery of mental health support services and assures quality and accessibility of services delivered by Peer Support Specialist(s) and Paraprofessionals Assures compliance and established protocols, policies and procedures. Ensures that the consumer is assessed for and connected to clinically appropriate services. Assisting clients/staff by finding resources, advising the consumer of processes, and encouraging follow through with proposed resolutions, locating social activities, or provide other assistance as needed Providing advice to clients on empowerment skills and successful community living Assisting in peer support groups with assigned consumers on a regular basis Provides consumer progress/updates to supervisor on scheduled intervals. Attends required staff meetings and scheduled trainings. Participates in monthly supervisions with immediate supervisor. Participates in scheduled Utilization Reviews with Clinical Director, QA/QI Director and Program Supervisor. Assists in the identification of any barriers to services and works collaboratively to resolve. Submits complete and accurate required paperwork and documentation within established timeframes. Checks agency emails twice (2) daily for updates and responds appropriately if they pertain to your or your staff. Develops ideas and implements new principles for the program. Develops and updates in the Person Centered Plan (PCP) with the individuals being served, and natural supports. Provides input into PCP modifications, as needed. Ensures authorizations remain current and meet appropriate medical necessity. Reviews the service notes/documentation with Peer Support Specialist(s) for appropriateness and effectiveness. Follows agency's policies and procedures accordingly. Coordinates activities within the established PCP. Collaborates with management to ensure all protocols are being followed. Assists with referral linkage to other services and community resources. Effectively communicates job and service expectations to Peer Support Specialist(s) and Paraprofessionals. Enforces service expectations through employee monitoring, appraisals, coaching and discipline as needed. Performs other related job duties as assigned by leadership, when necessary
