This position is primarily field-based and requires frequent travel to active job sites and industrial facilities to monitor operations, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with company and client safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of safety experience , strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while providing detailed reporting and recommendations to management. Essential DutiesResponsibilities Conduct routine and unannounced field safety inspections and audits. Monitor employee activities for compliance with company, client, and OSHA safety requirements. Conduct employee safety training on various OSHA topics Identify unsafe acts and conditions and work with field personnel to implement corrective actions. Complete site safety reports and communicate findings to the Safety Manager. Assist with incident, injury, near-miss, and property damage investigations. Verify required safety documentation, permits, and training records are current and compliant. Participate in site safety meetings and toolbox talks. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to site-specific safety procedures. Track and follow up on corrective actions until completion. Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization. Maintain professional relationships with clients, site representatives, and field personnel. Qualifications Required 3-5 years of safety experience in industrial, construction, utility, environmental, or related industries. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic reporting systems. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments. Preferred OSHA 30-Hour Certification First Aid/CPR Certification Experience conducting safety audits and inspections Experience working in industrial plants, refineries, manufacturing facilities, or heavy construction environments CHST, OHST, or other safety certifications are a plus Physical Requirements Ability to walk active job sites for extended periods. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, inside confined spaces, and work around heavy equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and respiratory protection as required.
