Second shift (2:00 PM•12:00 AM) Project Scope The Safety Manager will support a demolition contractor performing structural demolition work on a commercial building in Beverly Hills, CA. This role will focus on maintaining a safe work environment across all demolition activities, ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and company standards. The position requires active on-site presence during second shift operations, where the Safety Manager will oversee hazard identification, enforce safety protocols, and support crews working in a high-risk demolition setting. The individual will play a key role in preventing incidents and ensuring operational safety efficiency throughout the project duration. Qualifications 5+ years of demolition safety experience Additional Requirements Ability to work second shift (2:00 PM•12:00 AM) Ability to commit to a 4-day, 40-hour workweek schedule Key Responsibilities Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures on-site Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments Collaborate with field teams to address safety concerns in real time Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks for site personnel Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA and local safety regulations Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting Skills Safety compliance, hazard identification, demolition safety oversight, communication, incident investigation, field safety leadership Knowledge Base Strong knowledge of demolition safety practices, including hazard recognition, structural instability risks, and control measures associated with commercial building demolition. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, safety audits, and field-based enforcement of safety standards is essential for success in this role.
