This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards while supervising and mentoring FS/QA staff. This is a key leadership position that helps ensure our products meet the highest food safety and quality standards established by customers and regulatory agencies. This position offers competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications (DOE) . What You'll Do Perform food safety and quality audits and lead monthly food safety meetings Maintain and verify food safety systems, hazard analysis, sanitation programs, and prerequisite programs Review and manage deviations from food safety and quality standards, including corrective actions Lead the food safety team and oversee the food safety management system and management reviews Summarize and report food safety and quality data and trends Investigate food safety incidents and ensure proper reporting and corrective actions Review and update food safety and quality SOPs and documentation Plan, coordinate, and audit QA activities to ensure compliance with established standards Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring FS/QA staff Analyze audit and testing data to identify trends and opportunities for system improvements Successfully complete third-party and customer audits, including Vendors, CCOF, GlobalG.A.P., and GFSI Independently resolve moderately complex issues and escalate complex concerns as needed Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For Proven experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or related supervisory role (agriculture, food production, or manufacturing preferred) Strong knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, sanitation programs, and regulatory requirements Experience with third-party audits (e.g., GlobalG.A.P., GFSI, customer audits) Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
