Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager responsible for managing and overseeing Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs at San Miguel Produce. The role supports the Director of Production Operations by ensuring day-to-day compliance, leading QA/QC teams, and driving the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems across field and facility operations. What You Will Need:
Four-year degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in food safety, quality assurance, or produce industry. Prior supervisory or leadership experience. Strong knowledge of food safety systems including HACCP, FSMA, Preventive Controls, GMPs, GAP, SSOP, and GFSI standards. Experience with environmental monitoring programs and microbiological testing required. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, LGMA, USDA). Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, food safety manuals, and product specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and QA/QC systems (e.g., Safety Culture, Highland Hub, GIS, Famous Software). Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, auditors, and customers. Must be able to travel as needed between fields and facilities. Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean DMV driving record. Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical, and functional capacity evaluation
What Will Set You Apart:

Yearly Filling Deadline:
May 11, 2026 Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
