Interim Risk Manager Needed in Palm Springs, CA! The Position An Interim Risk Manager is needed to oversee risk management processes for a medical center in California!
Reports to the Patient Safety Director.
Key responsibilities include ensuring all complaints and grievances are properly logged, reviewing and preparing grievance letters, maintaining timely follow-up on grievances, and collaborating with legal counsel on lawsuits, legal requests, and depositions.
The ideal candidate will have strong risk management and patient safety experience, with demonstrated expertise in managing complaints and grievances in a healthcare environment. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Bachelor's degree required.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification highly preferred.

Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$155,000 to $160,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
