Mon-Fri (8 hrs/day, 1st shift) Project Scope This assignment supports safety oversight for drywall, framing, lath and plaster, and fireproofing activities on a large-scale hospital expansion, including: Daily inspections and monitoring of contractor activities Oversight of drywall and framing crews in high-paced environments Conducting toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training Hazard identification, corrective action tracking, and compliance reporting Coordination with GC, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain a strong safety culture Responsibilities include: Conducting daily safety walks, audits, and hazard recognition Leading safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee orientations Acting as a visible safety leader in the field, not just administrative support Managing safety documentation, incident investigations, and reports Coaching and motivating workers, ensuring a proactive approach to safety Qualifications Drywall/framing experience (most important requirement) BCSP (STS-C or Higher), OSHA 30, and 5+ years of experience Construction safety management background Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce Physically capable of navigating a large project site Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, not required Knowledge Base Strong working knowledge of: Drywall, framing, and fireproofing construction safety OSHA standards, compliance strategies, and safety documentation Toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training methods Hazard recognition, job hazard analysis, and incident investigation Equal Opportunity Sheakley is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Job Details Hourly Rate:
$50•53/hr (based on experience and certifications)

$125/day (7 days per week) if over 50 miles from project location
