Job Description
Our client is currently seeking an EHS Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership:
Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives.Safety Culture Champion:
Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement.Regulatory Compliance Expert:
Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.Hazard Assessment Pro:
Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.- Train, develop and manage three direct reports.
- Lead plant environmental program.
- Manage third party security company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Business or Science preferred.
- 5 years in Industrial Safety, with 3 years minimum in manufacturing, preferably in consumer goods (food processing is preferred).
Certifications:
Strong OSHA (certification a must), ASP or CSP (certifications a plus).- 3 years of Management experience.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
- Solid environmental compliance, samplings and reporting, wastewater oversight and experience working with regulatory agencies.
- Experience managing security team (in house or external) is a plus.
