In this vital role, you will champion safety protocols across construction sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help foster a culture of safety, minimize risks, and promote occupational health for all personnel involved in our projects. Currently looking for a part-time jobsite safety inspector. The ideal candidate should be able to visit construction sites and observe unsafe conditions and behaviors that can harm workers, and communicate with management to correct them; Also, the inspector should be able to conduct weekly/monthly safety meetings, and train workers in the safe use of machinery and equipment as necessary. Responsibilities Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure that they follow safety standards and government regulations. Prepare written reports on their findings Design and implement workplace processes and procedures that help protect workers from hazardous work conditions Evaluate programs on workplace health and safety Educate employers and workers about workplace safety by preparing and providing training programs Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment Investigate incidents and accidents to identify what caused them and how they might be prevented. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction management processes. Ability to conduct detailed site inspections and enforce compliance measures effectively. Strong communication skills for delivering safety training and collaborating with diverse teams. Experience using construction management software for documentation and reporting purposes. Construction site experience demonstrating hands-on knowledge of daily operations and safety challenges. Physical ability to walk and inspect full construction jobsites.

Pay:

$26.67 - $32.11 per hour
