Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Site Safety Supervisor and take the lead in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient construction environment. In this vital role, you will oversee safety protocols across construction sites, promote a culture of safety awareness, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. Your proactive approach will help prevent accidents, manage risks, and foster a secure workspace for everyone involved. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on project success while championing health and safety standards. Duties Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety plans tailored to each construction site's unique needs. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards. Manage risk assessments related to construction activities, including working at heights, heavy machinery operation, and hazardous materials handling. Lead safety training sessions for workers and subcontractors to reinforce best practices in occupational health and safety. Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers to ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) and other relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation using construction management software. Skills Strong knowledge of risk management principles and OSHA regulations to proactively identify and mitigate hazards. Proven experience in construction management with a focus on EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) standards. Familiarity with NEC standards and workers' compensation processes to support compliance and injury prevention efforts. Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and liaise with regulatory agencies. Ability to utilize construction management software for documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking. Demonstrated capability in construction site experience with a focus on safety oversight and compliance management. Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple safety initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
