Job Description:
Schedule Information:
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Conducts monthly fire extinguisher inspections to ensure functionality.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Able to communicate in English. [Required]
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of agencies, organizations, and individuals. [Required]
- Communication, delegation, coordination, evaluation, assessment and interpersonal skills. [Required]
- Proficient knowledge of safety, fire protection principals, practices, codes, standards and regulations. [Required]
- Understanding of Fire Extinguisher Program Management, Administration, reporting and documentation. [Required]
- Understanding of Elevator Checks and documentation. [Required]
- Understanding of business occupancy AED's, reporting and documentation [Required]
- Familiarity with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organization Standards (NIAHO). [Required]
- Demonstrate aptitude required to successfully administer fire drills and the fire extinguisher program management. [Required]
- Working knowledge of survey process by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) that relate to Life Safety and Physical Environment. [Preferred]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv ( or GED.) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
- $16.79 - $26.86
- Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
