Job Description

Sample/ Rug Supervisor We are currently seeking an experienced Samples/ Rug Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. The role requires the ability to manage employees and organize workflow. The ability to optimize day-to-day activities while maintaining a safe work environment is also essential to ensuring maximum quality and efficiency. Sample/Rug Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a group of employees in the Samples and Rugs departments including estimating personnel needs, assigning work, conducting training and development, policy, and safety compliance, etc.
  • Knowledge of all essential equipment and ability to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
  • Ability to generate and submit reports on performance.
  • Promote safety by leading pre-shift safety meetings, working on safety projects, supporting safety within the department, completing safety surveys, and performing safety training.
  • Resolve employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques, utilizing Human Resources to assist in solving unresolved work-related problems when needed.
  • Ensure quality requirements and procedures for the department and plant are understood and met.
  • Lead a high-performance team with a positive attitude, professionalism, and inclusive mindset. Sample/ Rug Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Sample or Rug Supervisor or similar role
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Effective communication and people skills
  • Strong work ethic--self-motivated and result driven.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years' experience Samples & Rugs Supervision (preferred)
