Plans and implements training for employees in work site safety practices, rain-day safety training and coordinates any specialized safety training and/or certifications for the employees. Performs unannounced/random safety audits and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented. Conducts post-accident investigation and prepares report identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or related degree preferred Certification of CSP, ASP, GSP, or CHST desired 3 years experience in construction industry, project leadership and/or safety related experience; internship may qualify Travel will be required depending on jobsite locations. Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, MS Project, Safety Auduit Software and Viewpoint Field Work Center Receive all instructor level certifications for all safety training required by employees of the company.
