SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and develop Safety Coordinators and site safety programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, and influencing outcomes across teams.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and lead a world-class, zero-harm safety strategy across multiple operational sites Drive a proactive safety culture that builds engagement, ownership, and accountability at all levels Standardize and deliver impactful safety training and awareness programs across facilities Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify gaps and strengthen controls Ensure full safety compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local regulations Partner with operations to proactively identify and mitigate safety hazards and risks Lead safety incident investigations (accidents, near-misses) and implement corrective actions Oversee safety programs including emergency response, workers' compensation, return-to-work, and safety leadership development initiatives
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field 10+ years of experience in safety management, with a strong track record of leading safety programs for multiple operational sites Strong leadership skills with the ability to build positive safety cultures and promoting employee engagement and accountability. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and loss control Ability to travel and work at multiple operational sites across the United States Knowledge of workers' compensation, loss control, and risk management. Proven experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and investigations. Proven experience in designing and implementing safety programs. Ability to travel and work at multiple operational sites across the United States.
