Boise, ID Salary:

$42/hr. Express Employment is seeking a safety professional for a mechanical contracting company.

Job duties include:

Providing support with incident prevention, including inspecting the job site and equipment, providing onsite training and safety standards, and authoring incident reports Performing frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment Overseeing additional safety professionals assigned to the project Surveying the jobsite and providing advice and guidance to site superintendents and site employees engaged in a full range of construction activities including but not limited to confined space, hazardous energy control, fall protection, and scaffolding Investigating all incidents to determine origin, root cause, and contributing factors and assisting in the preparation of written evaluation reports concerning findings Carrying out safety education activities, promoting safety awareness, conducting daily and weekly talks, and providing site specific training courses Consulting with technical specialists and program managers about changes in work processes and proposed methods to eliminate unnecessary risks and control hazardous conditions Providing employees and managers with the training necessary to recognize hazards and how to perform their jobs safely and effectively Developing job hazard analysis for all new major work processes and the processes that have the highest injury/illness rates Conducting PPE assessments as needed Recommending appropriate measures and methods to correct safety deficiencies noted Other details: Must have prior experience working in a safety role in the construction industry Schedule is Monday-Saturday, 6am-4:30pm, 60-60-50 Pay rate is $42/hr.
