• At least five years of meaningful construction-safety experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading safety programs, field inspections, training, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and generally accepted safety practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust while maintaining accountability.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to jobsites and work in active construction environments.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to use common business software, safety-management systems, and digital reporting tools.
• Ability to meet customer-specific access, background, and training requirements when applicable. Preferred Qualifications The strongest candidates may also bring one or more of the following:
• Experience in electrical construction, industrial construction, commercial construction, utilities, energy, government, or other high-accountability environments.
• OSHA 500 or

OSHA 510

training.

• CHST, CSP, ASP, SMS, or comparable safety credentials.
• Experience developing and teaching OSHA 10- and OSHA 30-hour courses.
• Experience working with large general contractors, government facilities, industrial customers, or highly regulated jobsites.
• Experience managing return-to-work programs, claims, insurance relationships, and safety-performance data.
• Experience implementing safety software or training-management systems.
• Experience building a safety department or significantly improving an existing program.
• Experience developing supervisors and field leaders as safety coaches.

The Opportunity The Safety Manager will lead the development, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of Wheeler Electric's company-wide safety program. They will help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, customer requirements, and industry standards—but compliance is only the foundation of the role. The key responsibility is to strengthen a proactive safety culture in which team members:
