Manufacturing Full Job Description Overview:
The Stewardship (EHS) Manager is a site leadership team member responsible for driving safe, reliable, and compliant operations at the Evansville facility. This role embeds environmental, health, and safety into daily work through a Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) approach, fostering a culture of learning, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Promote a strong safety culture emphasizing learning, accountability, and open reporting. Ensure environmental compliance, including permitting and regulatory engagement. Integrate EHS into operations, projects, and risk management activities. Lead incident reviews and drive continuous improvement across systems. Build EHS capability through training, coaching, and leadership support. Partner with teams to identify risks and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing. Experience managing compliance systems, permitting processes and environmental regulations. Experience in plastics or chemical manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with ISO 14001, Responsible Care, or HOP principles highly desirable. Strong communication and influencing ability. Systems thinking and problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
