Job Description
Williams Dedicated has an immediate opening for an experienced Safety Manager at our Michigan City, IN terminal.
Position Description:
Monitor and enforce Hours of Service (HOS) compliance Review and act on ELD violations daily (Samsara) Track driver behavior using camera systems and safety scores Investigate accidents and determine preventability Manage workers compensation, liability, and accident claims Maintain DOT compliance and audit readiness Oversee Driver Qualification (DQ) files Conduct driver onboarding and safety training Review DOT inspections and submit DataQ challenges when needed Enforce driver discipline and safety policies Coordinate with service and recruiting departments Previous trucking safety position experience Experience with: accident investigation driver coaching and discipline compliance and audit preparation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment Strong knowledge of:FMCSA & DOT
