Job Description
Martin Family Farms seeks Safety and Biosecurity Compliance Officer in Williamsport, IN, to manage workplace safety and disease-prevention programs. Duties include standardize safety and biosecurity procedures; monitor operations; develop and implement SOPs; investigate workplace incidents and suspected disease introductions; maintain audit, incident, and related records; identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies; audit company farms and facilities; coordinate environmental testing; review video recordings for compliance; and develop and conduct training. Requires approx. 75% weekly travel to sites in Benton, Warren, and Fountain Counties. Requires a Bachelor's in Animal Sci, Occupational Safety, Ag-Sci/Engineering or Food-Sci/Engineering, or closely related, plus 12 months' exp. in modern livestock production, implementing biosecurity protocols, and performing audits.
