In this vital role, you will champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards while fostering a secure environment for all team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on project success and worker well-being through energetic leadership and meticulous safety oversight. This project begins in June 2026 and is projected to end around May 2027. This contract has opporunity for more work depending on performance. Duties Site Inspections & Hazard Control Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections Identify and correct hazardous conditions Verify proper use of PPE Monitor fall protection, excavation, electrical, crane, and confined space activities Track and close out corrective actions Subcontractor Management Review subcontractor safety programs and JHAs/AHAs Conduct subcontractor safety orientations Hold weekly safety coordination meetings Enforce safety requirements and issue corrective actions when necessary Monitor subcontractor compliance with site rules Training & Communication Conduct new-hire orientations Deliver toolbox talks and safety training Communicate safety alerts and lessons learned Maintain training records and certifications Incident Management Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage events Prepare incident reports and root cause analyses Develop corrective and preventive actions Coordinate post-incident response activities Documentation & Recordkeeping Maintain OSHA logs and required records Track inspections, audits, and corrective actions Review permits and safety documentation Maintain SDS inventories and exposure records Planning & Pre-Task Review Participate in pre-construction planning meetings Review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) Evaluate high-risk work activities before they begin Assist project teams with safety planning and logistics Regulatory & Owner Interface Serve as the primary contact for OSHA inspections Participate in owner and insurance safety audits Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies Ensure compliance with project-specific safety requirements Emergency Preparedness Develop and maintain emergency action plans Coordinate emergency response drills Ensure first aid, fire protection, and rescue equipment are available Manage emergency incidents until responders arrive Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, and owner requirements Coordinate safety expectations with all subcontractors Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of construction safety experience 3+ years managing safety on commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects Strong knowledge of

Construction Standards Experience managing subcontractor safety compliance Ability to conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses Strong communication and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software
