Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases andequipment, is seeking a Safety & Compliance Manager to cover our Northernterritory, located in Gaithersburg, MD.This position covers locations in NJ, DE, PA, MD, Washington DC, VAWhat's in it for you?
- Excellent base salary range of $90,000

The Safety & Compliance Manager provides excellent customer service andsupport to our local branches while driving, influencing, and achieving safetyand regulatory compliance, and risk reduction. You have experienceimplementing safety programs, and training and coaching to all levels of theorganization. You identify and mitigate risks by conducting safety audits andinvestigations, and you are comfortable recommending preventativemeasures. You exercise, current and best-in-class safe work activities andindustry trends in production, distribution, warehousing, and point-of-saleactivities. You maintain continual knowledge of regulatory requirementsincluding: OSHA, DOT, FDA, EPA, CGA, NFPA, ISBT, state, and localgovernment regulations
- -Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the chemical, gas, oil, orpharmaceutical industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Safety and Compliance field
- Regulatory knowledge and/or experience (i.e. OSHA, DOT, etc.)
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel,PowerPoint, etc.)
- Possesses leadership, decision-making, and change management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in the compressed gases industry preferred (i.e. oxygen,nitrogen, argon, etc.)
