Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum five (5) years' experience performing federal construction jobsite quality control and safety inspections Maintain continuous on-site presence during active construction operations as required by contract. Implement and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP). Conduct the three phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up) to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Perform daily quality control inspections and maintain detailed quality control reports and documentation. Enforce safety standards in accordance with OSHA and

USACE EM 385-1-1.

Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and weekly safety stand-downs as required Prepare, review, and enforce Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) for all definable features of work. Review and approve submittals to ensure compliance with contract requirements prior to installation. Coordinate and document inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety requirements. Maintain and track project documentation including submittals, RFIs, inspection reports, deficiency logs, and as-built drawings. Identify, document, and track deficiencies; ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner. Stop work when necessary to correct unsafe conditions or non-compliant work. Participate in project meetings including preparatory meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with government stakeholders. Coordinate closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure alignment between construction execution, quality control, and safety compliance. Ensure all required safety training, certifications, and documentation are current and maintained. Support project startup, mobilization, and closeout activities including final inspections and turnover documentation.
