Site Safety Manager FDR Safety - 4.6 Detroit, MI Job Details Contract 13 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification OSHA 30 First Aid Certification OSHA 30-Hour Construction Fire protection systems Confined space entry safety procedures AED Certification Full Job Description FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Manager to oversee a construction project in Detroit, MI. This position will last approximately 2 years and is expected to operate on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40-50 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification required. Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification. Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate. Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards. Strong background in constructions procedures and processes. Experience with developing and facilitating safety programs and training. Experience working with MIOSHA Experience managing safety on large, complex projects. Experience with confined space, fire protection, and hot work permits is required.
