Environmental compliance OSHA 30 Compliance management Bachelor's degree Business Administration Certified Safety Professional Manufacturing Full Job Description The Environmental, Health, Safety and Compliance Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing operational processes in the areas of environmental management, health protection and occupational safety. This Manager will maintain the health and safety of the plant workforce by monitoring and evaluating health and safety conditions while assuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and governmental standards. Other expectations include the ability to establish new and sustain/optimize existing Superior Brass safety and health programs. This role requires knowledge of and a willingness to stay current in applicable state and federal laws and regulations. As part of the leadership team the Environmental, Health, Safety and Compliance Manager will have the opportunity to help build on a culture that rewards hard work, encourages growth, and celebrates success of individuals and the team. Opportunities to broaden responsibilities and skillset will be available. A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in business administration, public administration, engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in the practical application of environmental, health, safety and compliance programs in a manufacturing environment. Superior Brass is a foundry in East Lansing, MI specializing in manufacturing brass casting components for fire hydrants and water valves.
