Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment on roofing sites. This position involves monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols to protect workers and maintain a culture of safety. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Develop and implement safety programs and training for employees to promote occupational health and safety awareness. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that all workers adhere to safety guidelines. Collaborate with the safety director to integrate safety practices for effective tracking and reporting. Maintain documentation related to safety inspections, incidents, and compliance management for regulatory purposes. Assist in the investigation of accidents or incidents on-site, providing recommendations for risk management improvements. Skills Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics and compliance documentation. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards related to construction site safety. Preference will be given to individuals trained in OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30. Familiarity with occupational health practices processes. Excellent risk management skills with the ability to assess potential hazards effectively. Strong communication skills to educate and engage workers on safety practices. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams while maintaining a focus on compliance and safety standards.
