20.00 - 30.00 USD / HOUR Share Share Email Post Share Fire Alarm Lead Are you a proactive, driven self-starter who excels at leading a team? Viking Automatic Sprinkler Co. is searching for a qualified individual to help lead our Alarm and Detection division in Rochester. The qualified candidate should be able to leverage their industry knowledge to lead a growing fire alarm and detection business by maintaining an existing customer base while developing new account sales in a variety of markets. This would include overseeing service projects, Inspections, and monitoring accounts. Need to be a team driven individual that can work well with customers and technicians. Viking's specialized capabilities are virtually unlimited and we are one of the largest fire protection companies serving the Upper Midwest Job Responsibilities Maintain existing customer relationships while establishing a new customer base Ensure proper manpower for each project to maximize productivity Use code knowledge to provide accurate estimates and drawings for fire alarm installations and upgrades Complete estimates and proposals for new work Ensure all work complies with codes and standards Monitor and track project progress ensuring the project remains on or under budget Recommend improvements on project or procedures to improve overall company success Provide direction for future growth and planning of the fire alarm division Effectively plan the day-to-day activities of the assembly installation, and repair of fire alarm systems Provide guidance and direction to crews in meeting budgets and schedule dates of each project Inform leadership of all issues affecting production, materials, schedule, costs, and relationships Serve as trainer and coach for crew members Some travel maybe required Qualifications Strong communication skills (oral and written) is a must have Ability to function and thrive in a fast-paced environment Computer skills NICET in fire alarm is a plus Suppression experience/certification a plus Initiative and drive to grow a business unit Strong organizational skills required Business development/marketing skill a plus Possess a valid driver's license Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Profit sharing program, Employee stock program Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
